Farm to table, for real
Raised in our own water
The trout grow in cold water flowing down from the Făgăraș Mountains, in the complex’s own ponds.
Cooked the same day
It reaches the kitchen fresh, just a few metres from the ponds. No transport, no freezer.
Served with a view
On the terrace overlooking the ponds and the forest. The rest is scenery and quiet.

Trout in a cornmeal crust
Fried until crisp, with garlic sauce (mujdei) and warm polenta. The house classic.
Local farm
Angus beef, seasonal vegetables
Aged rib-eye, grilled, with vegetables picked that same day from gardens in the area.
Picked in the Făgăraș Mountains
Wild berry dessert
Mountain blueberries, blackberries and raspberries, with whipped cream and honey from neighbouring beehives.
The terrace
A table by the water, under the Făgăraș sky
The terrace looks straight out onto the ponds and the forest. In summer you eat in the shade, with the murmur of water in the background; in winter, indoors, surrounded by warm wood, with a window onto the snow.

About the restaurant
Do I need to book a table in advance?
At weekends and on holidays, we recommend booking by phone. At other times, you can just come by — we’ll find you a spot on the terrace.
Do you have vegetarian options?
Yes — we have dishes with seasonal vegetables, local cheeses and hearty sides. Let us know if you have other preferences.
Can I hold an event at the restaurant?
Yes, we host christenings, weddings and group events. Call us and we’ll put together a suitable menu with you.
Can I eat here without staying overnight?
Of course. The restaurant is open to all visitors, whether you’re staying the night or just passing through.
