Situated at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains, in the picturesque Arpasel Valley and surrounded by the Arpasel Nature Reserve, the Albota ridge and the majestic peak “Vânătoarea lui Buteanu” (2507 m), the Albota Complex is an oasis of health.

A visit to Albota will reveal:

Fishing lakes, where you can rent rods/lances to enjoy some relaxing fishing, then buy freshly caught fish;
Own farm with cows, buffalo, Angus cattle, goats, sheep, rabbits, horses, donkeys, etc;
Our pastures (> 1,000 hectares) with over 2,000 animals;
The two greenhouses for fresh vegetables and greens;

The Albota complex is an all-season recreation destination. Activities range from fishing and cycling to boating, canoeing and hiking. Our newly laid out sports court invites you to play tennis, football or handball. In our hydrotherapy lake, you can rediscover the joy and vitality of childhood. Relax in the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi.

You can also choose to visit the Cistercian Abbey of Cârța, located about 15 km from Albota on the DN1. Perhaps you would like to enjoy a walk to our farm in Cârțișoara or to the Cârțișoara Nunnery with your loved ones.

Boats/Canoes

The Albota complex, located in Arpașu de Sus, offers an interesting opportunity to go boating or canoeing. This activity is great for exploring the breathtaking surroundings from a unique perspective on the water.

Whether you choose a leisurely boat ride or an adventurous canoe trip, this service will undoubtedly add a thrilling experience to your stay at the Albota Resort.

Bicycles

The Albota complex offers a top bike rental service. The bikes are equipped with disc brakes, ensuring a safe and comfortable riding experience. Bikes can be used to explore the surroundings, as the complex is close to popular tourist attractions, making the bike rental service a great option for visitors.

Hiking

The Albota complex is situated in an idyllic location in the Făgăraș Mountains, between Sibiu and Brașov, offering numerous recreational activities, including hiking. Hiking can be done in the picturesque surroundings of the resort or in the Făgăraș Mountains, which offer a special natural landscape. Mountain hikes can take between 2 and 8 hours and are of varying degrees of difficulty in both summer and winter. The marked trails give you the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Făgăraș Mountains.

Campfire

Our campfire service is ideal for large groups. We offer an unforgettable experience under starry skies with a warm and soothing campfire. Groups can enjoy tasty meals prepared over an open fire, sing camp songs or tell stories around the fire. We ensure that all needs are met, including the safety and comfort of all participants. It’s a great opportunity for colleagues, friends or families to get together, relax and enjoy nature in the most authentic way.

Their food is special, being suited to their nutritional needs. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about trout behaviour and enjoy the peaceful beauty of your surroundings.

Playground

The Pastravaria Albota complex offers a children’s playground, which is a real attraction for the little ones. The playground is equipped with swings, slides, wooden huts and mattresses, which the little ones can enjoy at their leisure while expending their energy.

Fishing

Our fishing service offers an unparalleled experience for lovers of this relaxing sport. Here, you can fish in our specially designed lakes. Whatever the season, summer or winter, fishing with us is an adventure in itself.

For your comfort and safety, we provide quality fishing equipment as well as instructions on fishing rules and safety measures.

Angling rate: 5 Lei/hour
– included in the price is: 1 rod, bait, bucket
– fish caught must be bought! Pay per kg;

Trout price: 24 Lei/kg.
Price Gutted trout: 33 Lei/kg (if the caretaker has time).

Swimming pool

The swimming pool service offered at Pastravaria Albota is a luxurious element that brings a note of relaxation and recreation in the middle of nature. It includes an outdoor swimming pool, available seasonally, from where guests can admire the beauty of the surrounding mountains.
